Gomer’s 600K

SHAZAM! Make plans to join us for Gomer’s 600K Brevet on Saturday, May 12th. The ride starts promptly at 05:30 CDT at Walmart, 160 Springville Station, Springville, AL. There is a gas station, Hardees & Waffle House across the street from the Walmart parking lot. There are several hotels available in nearby Trussville. Check-in and bicycle inspections will be conducted on Saturday morning between 04:30-05:00. Included in the registration fee will be drop-bag service to the sleep/shower control, plus food and drink at the Budget Inn in Talladega, AL. Complete details will be emailed to participants during the week before the event. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

Pre-registration is required to participate, and the deadline to register is midnight, Tuesday, May 8th. This will allow for adequate time to print control cards for each of the participants. A $40 registration fee to cover the cost of insurance, administrative fees and other event expenses will be collected at the ride start.

• The Gomer’s 600K Cue Sheet is available for download. Be sure to print your own cue sheet; the organizer will not have extra copies.
• The GPS file is available for download from Ride with GPS.  NOTE: The elevation gain is incorrectly listed as 22,817′. The actual amount is 14,991′.
